Installation Guide and Terms of Service
In accordance with Australian electrical safety regulations, solar battery systems must be installed by appropriately licensed and accredited professionals to ensure safe operation and compliance with applicable standards.
Through an exclusive partnership with Harvey Norman, VoltX Energy offers professional installation services across selected serviceable locations in NSW, QLD, and VIC through a network of licensed and in-house electricians. Service availability is subject to postcode verification.
Once you have purchased your VoltX Energy Solar Battery System, a VoltX Energy representative will contact you to commence the installation assessment process.

Step 1: Initial Eligibility Assessment
A VoltX Energy energy expert will contact you to determine whether your property falls within our serviceable installation area and is suitable for installation.
The standard installation fee for Harvey Norman customers is $100 for NSW, QLD, and VIC.
Additional charges may apply, including but not limited to:
Step 2: Site Information Collection
If your property is deemed suitable for installation, a VoltX Energy representative will request information to assess installation requirements.
Information typically required includes:
- Exact installation address
- Latest electricity bill
- Photo of the switchboard
- Photo of the area surrounding the switchboard
- Photo of the existing inverter (if applicable), including the model and capacity
- Photo of the proposed battery installation location
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information during the assessment process. Additional costs may arise if actual site conditions differ from the information provided.
Step 3: Installation Assessment and Quotation
Based on the information supplied, VoltX Energy will assess the installation requirements and confirm whether any additional works are required.
Most installations are completed without additional charges.
Where additional works are required, an itemized quotation will be provided outlining any optional or mandatory add-ons. These costs will be clearly communicated before installation is scheduled.
Step 4: Approval and Scheduling
Upon acceptance of any applicable additional charges, a VoltX Energy representative will explain the installation process and schedule an installation date.
Prior to installation, the customer must sign an installation agreement outlining the scope of works, pricing, and any approved variations.

VoltX Energy is responsible for installation services, site assessments, system design validation, rebate assistance, installation-related quotations, workmanship, commissioning, and ongoing installation support.
